Over the weekend I had a look at my numbers after almost 6,5 years of investing in the US. I am a pure daytrader and never keep any positions overnight. I have invested 1676 days and have been profitable 82% of those days. Since 2004 I have been profitable 89% of the time.  Here is a graph showing my accumulated profits since start:

The last two months have been the best since I started. However, my strategies have developed over the years. All in all I have traded about 24 different strategies since I started. Currently I only trade one strategy which I also traded in 2004. One cannot trade without being flexible and adaptable. Not a single strategy will always be profitable. I know for sure what I am trading today will not be profitable in 1-3 years. That is the ever changing cycles in the stock market. Being profitable involves a constant search for new strategies!
